Designed to fit seamlessly onto your existing fixture frames, it's independently powered, daisy-chainable, and engineered to deliver precise far-red exposure without frying your crop. Use it in veg to stretch, early flower to bulk up spacing, or late bloom to push photosynthesis over the finish line. Is the Photontek 50W FAR-RED LED Bar energy-efficient?

This bar delivers 148 µmol/s in the 701–750 nm range with a 13 µmol/s contribution in 600–700 nm, giving it a total output efficiency of ~3.2 µmol/J. That’s miles ahead of old HPS setups (1.3–1.7 µmol/J) and a clear upgrade even from premium DE HPS units. You get more usable light per watt, right where your plants can use it.
